Student Absences

Parents are reminded that under the Education Act, any child enrolled in school must attend school whenever the school is open for instruction. Parents are obliged under the Act to inform the school whenever their child is away. Only absences due to illness, medical or dental appointments and funeral|tangi of a close family member are regarded as justifiable absences.

All other absences must have the approval of the principal.
