Today was the last Footsteps session for our students. These pictures show the engagement of some of our Kereru students as they learnt new moves.

Ko te reo Māori ko tātou te motu, ko tātou te motu ko te reo Māori.
Māori language is a part of who we are as a nation.
Ahakoa iti, ākona, kōrerotia I tēnei rā, i ia rā, i ia rā.
Learn a little, use a little, today and everyday.
Me whakanui me ako me whakamahi to tātou reo.
Let’s celebrate, learn and use our language.
Kia kaha te reo Māori.

Due to the government extending the Alert Levels, the school has been left in the position of having to wait until the next announcement on Monday 21 September before we can advise what shape our Ag Day will take.
The is no Indoor Day our Ag Day projects this year. Whatever form Ag Day takes this year will only involve animals.
Naturally we are disappointed for our students that Ag Day has been affected by Covid-19 like everything else. Once everything settles down again we hope to be able to arrange something good for all students to remember from this year other than all the interruptions.
We had a sea of coolur today at school and wonderful to see the stduents getting in behind our House Colour Mufti Day. Due to the Piwakawaka ReTell this afternoon we weren't able to go hold our dodge ball competition so this will be held next week.
Some students brought along a gold coin for the mufti day but this was not needed as it was just a free, fun day.
