Parent Evening for 2020 Year 7 Parents

We've had some great success this year in our Year 7&8 class. They've had letters from th Prime Minister, won a trip to the zoo, competed in the William Pike Challenge Award, are about to try their hand at white water rafting and all the while had some awesome learning opportunities.

We invote parents of all our current Year 6 students to come along to the school on the night of Monday, 9 September to hear what is in store for your child in Rutherford for next year.

We also want to hear from you about what you'd like to see Te Hihi provide for your child in Year 7&8.

Come along on Monday at 6:30 p.m.

Ag Day Cups To Be Returned

All Ag Day cups should now be back at the school office. Unfortunately there are still 15 cups that we are waiting for.

Could we please have these back by Monday 9 September.

Grocery Hamper Raffles

Each year, we run our most successful Ag Day fundraiser – the Grocery Hamper Raffles. The success of these raffles is largely due to the support we receive from families in donating specific items that can be included in the hampers as well as the selling of raffle tickets prior to and on Ag Day.

Thank you for all the bathroom and laundry items that have been coming in this week for our Grocery Raffle!

Next week we are collecting Specialist Goods (Gourmet & Confectionery)

This can be chocolate or lollies, or anything fancy like olive oil, olives, wine, crackers, biscuits.  Just remember to check that the expiry date is past 28th Sept 2019.

Remember, for every item that is brought to school for the raffle, the students name will go into a draw for an exciting family prize which will be drawn during prize giving on Ag Day.

THE PRIZE

The prize is a Family Pass to the MOVIES!!!! (4 tickets to a movie of your choice valued at $78.)

Yellow Mufti / Daffodil Day

Last Friday, was Daffodil Day to raise money for the Cancer Society.

We joined the campaign by having a yellow mufti day and selling daffodil pins all week. It was great to see so many students and staff dressed in yellow. We raised a total of $290.10.

A big thank you to everyone.
