About Mr Curtin

Hello Everyone!

I am one of Te Hihi’s intermediate school teachers. I have been teaching since 2004 in both Canada and New Zealand. I enjoy working with children and helping them reach for their dreams through their education.  I believe every child should be valued and treated with respect.  An education should empower a child and help him or her make a positive contribution to our world.  



I have a beautiful family with one son and daughter and my wife Qing Hui. Papakura has been our home for the past seven years. During my free time I enjoy being outdoors, playing ice hockey, swimming, going to the beach and reading.
