Reporting to Parents
With the change of government in 2017, National Standards we removed along with the requirement to report to parents against them. The current government is currently looking at what it will replace National Standards. In the meantime, as a school we will continue to report against Reading, Writing and Maths as core curriculum areas. Aligned with the schools move to becoming an IB PYP school, the school will report against the Units of Inquiry covered in the half year prior to the report going out.
For 2019, the school will be sending home mid-year reports on Friday 21 June and holding Student Achievement Meetings on 25th and 26th June.
The end of year school reports on Friday 6 December.

Sharing our Learning Afternoon - 28 June 2019
It was wonderful to see so many parents come along for today's Sharing our Learning afternoon. Tasting the selection of foods used in cultural celebrations that Taylor students put together were delicious and a great learning experience for the students. The Brick Bay inspired sculptures Rutherford put together in our Native Bush Zone showed their creativity. Some of them we will look to build so that they become permanent sculptures in our school.
This afternoon's showcase of performances by Blake, Hillary and Te Kanawa were well received. From the New Entrants with their Pungawerewere dance, Hillary with their depiction of Rata and the Waka, to the Te Kanawa students with their performances celebrating cultures around the world they developed from scratch, the students all put in a great effort.
