Absences

Parents are reminded that under the Education and Training Act 2020, any child enrolled in school must attend school whenever the school is open for instruction. Parents are obliged under the Act to inform the school whenever their child is away. Only absences due to illness, medical or dental appointments and funeral|tangi of a close family member are regarded as justifiable absences.

To notify the school of a short-term illness, please email the school office or use the absence button on the Hero app.

To request leave from the principal for holidays during term time, please email the principal using this form.

Buses

This page outlines the procedures which we have in place at school to assist in ensuring the safety of all children who travel on the bus to and from school. Please discuss these points with your child as we need to ensure that at all times the safety of the children is paramount. Your help is appreciated.
